WIP Wednesday

Hi there and happy hump day! Wednesday seems to sneak up on me so fast lately, it gets to be about closing time and I realize that I haven't sat down to write a post. This isn't all of my WIPs by any means (UGH) but here's a peek at what I've been up to since last time.

I'm still working on my Ambiguous Cowl. I completely messed up the chart for clue 3 and had to rip back so I'm a ways behind. There are some really gorgeous finished cowls out there. I can't wait to get mine finished so I can wear it. The Sueno is really a fantastic yarn to knit with. I'm already scheming other projects I can use it in. Grandma Stitch (Reba) is current knitting this cowl with it and it's absolutely amazing. I'll see if she'll let me take a picture to share next week.

I've got several toes of socks started. I'm testing out some new self-striping sock yarns I dyed this week. (Lisa Frank on top and Beetlejuice on the bottom) I'm also playing around with both magic loop and with DPNs. I'm really on the fence as to which I like better, I used to hate DPNs but then the Knitter's Pride Karbonz came along... Which method do you all prefer?

Lastly, I just got in these super yummy sample of Quince and Co. Kestrel and Sparrow. Both are linen bases and just so beautiful. I'm currently oohing and aaahhing over colors and trying to find a few one skein projects to try them out. Maybe I'll be able to share that with you next week. Hope you have a great week and Stitch On!
